Political short-termism at its worst.
Periodic but important reminder that for all the noise devoted to it, new oil & gas exploration in the North Sea will make next to no difference in UK oil & gas output. Itās a sideshow! Like it or not, North Sea is a mature basin. As far as we know thereās not a lot oil/gas left.
