As the @WSJ highlights, new face masks are needed to step up the fight against Covid-19. One of our research teams integrated a freeze-dried diagnostic Covid-19 test into a face mask. The test reacts with exhaled particles and could give a diagnosis in 90 minutes or less.
Scientists are giving the face mask a high-tech upgrade. Soon, if you're near someone who sneezes, your mask may sterilize the air before you breathe it in.
