This is the first issue a constituent came to see me about after I was elected. I will hold the Government's feet to the fire to make sure those affected get the compensation they deserve @WASPI_Campaign https://t.co/57rwmvj1mL

As someone who has been campaigning in support of the WASPI women for many years, It’s welcome news that the government is now rethinking its earlier decision to not compensate the WASPI women. In Parliament this week, I urged the Secretary of State to meet with campaigners and

This is welcome news, I hope this is a genuine attempt from the government to look again at the evidence and put things right. In my role on the Work and Pensions Committee, I'll keep pressing for support for WASPI women.

The Sec of State announced yesterday that his Dept. would be "retaking" the decision not to award the @WASPI_Campaign compensation. Today I wrote to him to ask DWP to pay out. I will never stop campaigning for my 7000+ WASPI Constituents: we fight on! #WASPI #Somerset #Devon

The @GOVUK decision to rethink its refusal to compensate Waspi women is welcome but must turn into action quickly. In Cynon Valley alone 4,000 women suffered an awful injustice & deserve to be properly compensated. My support for @WASPI_Campaign remains steadfast.

Last year just before Christmas, @WASPI_campaign women found out that the historic injustice that had forced them into hardship, wouldn’t be corrected. A redress cannot come sooner. I’ll stand with these women until they have justice & a fair compensation. https://t.co/3Ujc9TA79q

Women who argue they were not fairly notified about a rise in the State Pension age may still have a chance of being paid compensation. But pensions secretary Pat McFadden has stressed that this DOESN'T mean payouts are definitely coming. šŸ‘‡ https://t.co/N8iblr2c32
