In the same way, while we all may celebrate our nation and it's independence today, it's important to remember WHO gave this privilege to us and WHY. The founding fathers had the sense to pave the way for us, but this nation has deviated from both their vison and God's.

I realize that this thread isn't the kind of celebratory thread most post on national holidays. But George Washington was unable to sign the Declaration of Independence because he knew it was more important to organize the Continental Army in NYC on July 1776.

-> Importing armies of foreign mercenaries and inciting domestic insurrection. In 2020, blacks and liberals destroyed US property and killed 20+ people. On June 6th 2025, those same liberals helped criminal aliens do it again. Why are ANY of them still allowed in the country?

-> Abolishing our most valuable Laws. There have been 3,000+ trans surgeries conducted on US minors since 2016. The LGBT has the highest rep for pedophilia of any demographic. Why was gay marriage legalized June 26th, 2015?. Why is mental illness allowed to be spread freely?

-> Pretend Legislation and the protection of criminals who murder US citizens . It's clear that deportations and life sentences don't enact change. The punishment for anyone, ESPECIALLY a foreigner murdering a US citizen should be Death. Why isn't it? Why are they protected?

-> The Obstruction of Laws of Naturalization of Foreigners and Appropriations of Lands. Why were millions of criminals allowed past our border?. Why are foreigners allowed jobs and US land before naturalized US citizens?.

The third point, however, is of the greatest importance now:. 3. The founding fathers wisely predicted the current state of the USA to be COMPLACENCY. We would rather be comfortable suffering evils than go through discomfort to righteously crush it. What evils?

1. Multiple explicit references to Divine Law and God, who created them for us, so we may live in a manner that glorifies Him. 2. A call to action: The US government does not get its power from taxes or foreigners. It comes from US citizens letting it continue to operate freely.

The beginning of the Declaration is something we all know well:. ". all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.". But there are several areas of note that most miss.

Since today is Independence Day, I wanted to go back and read through the Declaration of Independence again. It has been quite a while since I'd read through the whole thing, but what I discovered while reading was both inspiring and discomforting. A Thread 🧵
