Explained my severe moodswings, tendencies to be violent or impulsive, issues keeping relationships due to warped perception of people, all major symptoms of bpd and I'd gotten a diagnosis from social workers but she pursed her lips and said "mm I don't see that in u 🫤"

Actually u can be a he/him lesbian and not be mspec! I have a friend who identifies as one but the understanding is that he's not stupid enough to try and snuggle himself under an umbrella that is exclusive to non-male attracted people. Mspecs can be mspec just not lesbians

If it were more common for therapists to outright say what they qualify to support patients on it'd be better to find "the right one." I've been through 4 therapists and all of them were unqualified but didn't tell me so until 3 months dragged and nothing was helping
