@VolcanoDoc @ElsevierConnect Can we get 40 people who placed orders, got confirmations, and then got cancellations? I think this is minimum # for a class action lawsuit. One hurdle I see is Elsevier could just be like "sorry, we ran out, had to cancel the rest of the orders." So idk how good of a case we.

If you would like to contact @ElsevierConnect, their customer service number is (800)545-2522. All our orders were cancelled & the ISBN is "under investigation". $6500 is enough money for me to talk to a lawyer is all I'm saying.
It should be ZERO surprise to anyone that @ElsevierConnect goes back on their word. So sorry that we scientists purchased an 11-volume set of books that YOUR PUBLISHING COMPANY SET AT TEN CENTS. GIVE US THE BOOKS WE PAID MONEY FOR. PERIOD. I assure you, you CAN afford it.
