In my opinion, every beat 'em up needs a stage where you can toss the enemy off an elevator or bridge. Streets of Rage's elevator stage is the GOAT. These enemies have been waiting their whole lives for this one moment.

The Immortal Goblin head explosion death sequence - close up and slowed down. (Sega Genesis). When slowed down you can actually see the eyeballs shooting out of the head. This game had Fatalities before Mortal Kombat 😂

Not gonna lie, the first time I played Punch-Out!! it took me at least a dozen or so fights before I figured out how to beat King Hippo. For me, defeating him back then is the equivalent of beating the toughest boss in any of the Souls games today.
