I have said it multiple times over the years. I have seen enough athletic careers ruined and finished by CHO restriction and related low-energy intake disorders as well as mental health issues. Truly heartbreaking… Luckily now, the new generations of high-level athletes

A huge shout out to my amazing colleagues at the QE.. today was busy, too busy. Our lovely ITU nurses are so stretched... they have help from ward nurses, Children’s Hospital nurses, theatre staff, out patient physios, OTs.. the list goes on..1/2 @UHBCriticalCare @UHBTherapy

These are the same physios that 8 weeks ago were working in familiar outpatient musculoskeletal services, then on ITU for 3 weeks. Now following the patients through their recovery on to the rehab wards. These Physios are very versatile workers ✊
