GKN is really good at additive, and I had some discussions with them several years ago where they mentioned their idea of developing an engine. 3D printing is a very useful tool for small turbine engines because you can replace a lot of small parts.
GKN has some really state of the art manufacturing capabilities in Sweden so this project should be interesting. And likely more so for the working methods than about the actual flying vehicle. This type of hands on projects is what we need more of - to learn and work smarter.

While fighting in Fallujah my squad unexpectedly ended up at a large base outside the city after one of our guys got hit and had to be medevaced. Some admin jackass on base wouldn’t let us in the chow hall b/c *hand to God* “we didn’t bring our ID cards.” Pete is that Jackass.
So “Captain” Kelly, not only did your sedition video intentionally undercut good order & discipline…but you can’t even display your uniform correctly. Your medals are out of order & rows reversed. When/if you are recalled to active duty, it’ll start with a uniform inspection.
