Hate to break your heart, but there is no real meaning to dreams. Dreams are random neural firings. Your brain makes up a story to make sense of it - using memories, experiences, fears, concerns, etc. Dreams have functions (memory, threat simulation, etc.) but no real meaning.

They’re going after you, but you’re right. Look me dead in the face and tell me they’re the same. Without sleeves it’s better. But it doesn’t change the fact that despite Deadpool talking about”not being ashamed of being in a superhero movie” that design doesn’t scream that.

I find it amazing of James Gunn who is a guy that apparently loves to implement zaniness, didn’t want Superman to have the red tights straight away on his suit. Same thing with finding the identity thing without the hypno-glasses bringing him “unable to suspend his disbelief”.

Creators are too afraid to embrace the sincerity of what the superhero medium is inspired by, that being circus performers and wrestlers. Even without that logic of inspiration, I feel it’s needed to outright have this energy. No “earning traits” or lampshading as “too silly”.
I want to live in a world where this is the standard aesthetic for CBM superhero suits. If you tweaked cap's cowl here it unironically would've made this suit perfect to be his main suit. Many of these guys are invulnerable or can block damage they dont need silly armor. 🤷♀️
