Yesterday I had an asthma incident which left me without a voice still managed to teach my yr 9 class with hand signals and pointing for them to answer questions. They all rallied so lesson was completed work done in books so proud of them for just getting on with it. #teacher

I gave one of my year 8 classes the opportunity to adopt a history critter for half term if they wanted to. They have to name them, send me updates and make sure they get a daily dose of history to survive. The updates have already started.....#History #historyteacher #critters

I do wonder how many of these parents who insist secondary-aged children should be allowed to use the bathroom whenever they want would pull over immediately on a motorway if their kid said they had to pee, or if they'd ask them to wait for a more appropriate time.
