@ARCRaidersGame ???? You now need rocketeer parts for making wolfpacks? But Rocketeer itself needs 2 wolfpacks to kill!

Adobe has officially WALKED BACK discontinuing support for Adobe Animate! Adobe Animate will NOT be going anywhere for the immediate future! Sometimes, enough backlash towards a decision can actually work. Awesome to see for all the animators who use this product independently

While I’m glad Animate is no longer being delisted, I am still extremely disappointed that Adobe has given up on Animate. Animate is such a powerful tool and now I know they’ll never fix their biggest bugs or issues keeping them soaring higher. There are no equivalents to what i
I just shared an update on Adobe Animate over on reddit (/r/adobeanimate), and given the conversations on X, wanted to also share here. Its a bit long, as there is a lot of info, so I also included a screenshot of the core info on Animate. TLDR: We have made some changes to to

Bros, I don't think Adobe listened to us at all, they listened to the stock price.

Well, I finally bought @MohoAnimation Software. The FORANIMATORS discount of $100 off still works. Can you add a symbol like feature?

“not accurate” actually it was accurate at the time, just say you backtracked because your stock was plummeting and everyone was canceling their subscriptions lmao
@1bridgeyboo What we initially shared is not accurate. Adobe Animate is in maintenance mode, which means we will continue to provide security and bug fixes but are no longer adding new features. Animate will continue to be available for both current and new customers. We are committed to

To everyone who told me writing letters, open letters, and tagging Adobe wouldn't work, I would like you to see this. Adobe is reversing course on their decision to discontinue Animate. When enough people complain, usually progress gets made. The pen is mighty! Thanks to

No longer being discontinued “for now” I know it’s hard to migrate to new software, but I really think that people should try and find alternatives, and stop paying Adobe money.

Okay Adobe Animate users. We ready to kickstart and crowdfund an animation program that is like Flash with a few more bells and whistles? Better drawing tools, but the same accessible timeline-jump-in-make-a-short-film-and-go ease of use? Full ownership etc. #adobeanimate

I’m one of the only people I know who used @adobeanimate for STORYBOARDING (see below). I didn’t just rely on #adobeanimate for animation… I found it to be my go-to just for DRAWING in general - preferring it even to Photoshop. It was the closest thing I’d ever used that felt

Adobe announced yesterday that Adobe Animate will be getting its support discontinued on March 1st. Along with that, it will be making the last version TOTALLY UNAVAILABLE and all files unusable starting in March 2027 The ENTIRE animation community is FURIOUS about this, and

What upsets me about Adobe Animate being discontinued is how little they care about giving their longtime users ways to preserve their project files. Like, they literally made everyone's files inaccessible. Like ... why?! They know that studios use their software too, right?

Crazy how Adobe is self-reporting the fact they don't listen to their community at all. I've been vocalizing my issues with the same 50 bugs in the program FOR THE LAST FUCKING DECADE.
One person on Bluesky called Adobe customer support about this and they said Adobe Animate is being discontinued because “the company can't think of any new features to add to the program and they feel it's gotten stale.” Their course of action? Killing it.

I want to know 3 things @Adobe: 1) Will Animate still work after March 2027 if already installed. 2) Will it still be available for download after March 2027 (reinstall or on a new device). 3) Will I still be able to legally use Animate after March 2027.
