Thank you to some of our Wellbeing Advocates who decided to run a school wide initiative to spread some festive cheer. Cards and candy canes were delivered to pupils across the school containing messages of positivity, written by friends and classmates. #UppinghamWellbeing

It was a pleasure to once again host Iain Mahony OU. He talks with such honesty and openness about his life since leaving the school. He shared his story about his addiction to drugs and alcohol as well as his career choices, changing relationships and perspective on masculinity.

Pupils have been busy reflecting on the short and long-term impacts of alcohol and drugs in recent weeks as part of their Wellbeing curriculum. This has included keeping up to date with law changes around disposable vapes and the possession of nitrous oxide for recreational use

A huge thank you to our Wellbeing Advocates who came up with some brilliant ideas for Wellbeing Week. They have managed to raise lots of money for charity through the sale of @krispykremeUK doughnuts as well as other activities at break time. #UppinghamWellbeing

#TimeToTalk Day is all about having conversations. But sometimes, speaking to people you know about your mental health can be too tough. And that's ok. Here are some people you can talk to if you'd rather speak to someone you don't know π

You don't always need to have your "I'm fine" face on..... Talking about mental health isnβt always easy and sometimes itβs even harder to say how you really feel. But a conversation has the power to change lives. #TimeToTalkDay
