Today marks 90 days on strike for those over at the National Coal Mining Museum. I was pleased to raise it once more, earlier this week in the Commons. All they want for Christmas is a fair settlement!

Solidarity with @UnisonLth @unisontheunion hospital workers at #Leeds General Infirmary, striking today over pay and regrading. Thanks for your support for our #BrumBinStrike members. From one picket line to another - we're strongest when we all fight together.

This morning we visited striking @UNISONWakefield members at @NCMME to bring solidarity from our #BrumBinStrike picket lines and a Christmas donation from our local @UniteNE40315 branch. Just like our #Birmingham bin workers, this long @unisontheunion strike has been made worse

RMT General Secretary Eddie Dempsey: "Here’s the thing – strikes are effective. "I hate to say this: people aren’t paid according to what social value they bring to society. If they were, you wouldn’t see nurses going to food banks. Your wages depend on the strength of the union

By our calculations, @NCMME have now spent over £100,000 on private security during the ongoing strike - over 10 times more than it would cost to resolve. For clarity, the museum should 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐬. 👉 https://t.co/PTr84B9ttU

Hear from Danny, a bin worker standing up for his rights as he strikes against @BhamCityCouncil's decision to cut pay by up to £8,000 for dedicated workers like him. This pay cut is simply unacceptable!

Massive props and solidarity from our branch! 👊
Unite’s members at @Village_Hotels in Leeds are fighting for decency, fairness and equality in the workplace. The fact is that Village Hotels is refusing to pay its workers the real living wage. This is an incredibly wealthy business refusing to pay low paid workers what they

Yet more incompetence from @BhamCityCouncil Now they've decided to waste even more public money changing the colour of bin workers' PPE from bright orange to dark purple. No consultation with the workforce whose safety relies on this PPE, and who know the actual job. And

On Saturday, we supported our friends at @UNISONWakefield, whose members at @NCMME have been on strike for 16 weeks. The #Wakefield crowd sent a huge message of #solidarity to our #BrumBinStrike members. Lots in common between these two strikes: 🤐 Bad employers refusing to

Unite weighing up disaffiliation from @UKLabour is no surprise - the party has forgotten who it’s meant to stand for. After years of ignoring workers, it continues to fail them - the Birmingham bin strikers being an obvious example. Workers deserve better than broken promises.

The way @NCMME workers have been treated is appalling, and the charity's leadership is utterly discredited. As a minimum, the CEO has to go. Hoping to see a strong turnout this Saturday from midday in Wakefield to support these workers.

Just some of the issues exposed: pressure, threats, high workload, and a lack of PPE. Workers are scared and threatened, this is not ok @BhamCityCouncil @jobandtalent_hq !! We've been left with no choice - Strike Together, Win Together 💪🏽 @unitetheunion
