Whenever Kingston Uni announce a 'consultation' over job & course cuts, you always know they have already decided to implement the cuts anyway. Sure enough, today staff were informed the '30-day consultation' outcome is that the cuts will go ahead. Spier, the VC, is a disgrace.😡

Kingston SLT have confirmed that their cost-cutting drive is motivated by a desire to run a surplus of 3% of turnover, and that the purpose of this “is to enable investment in its infrastructure.” The university’s buildings are more important than the people who use them. 😮💨
