Religious Prayers do not belong in school and the indoctrination of a Pledge of Allegiance upon Minors who have no idea what the meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance is, should not be forced upon anyone. ~if you don't like what I said there always the "unfriend" button.

I'm Jewish, I've been to a school where prayer was mandatory before the class began and I never, ever, stood up, bowed my head and recognized Jesus Christ as the Messiah, as God's son or even God himself. Even to this day...

Even then only a few people actually said the pledge out loud. We all stood up or we would be written up, so I'm not surprised that they're not even stating the Pledge in some states. and one more thing; This whole talk about prayers in school... Are you fucking kidding me?

Just so people are aware, the Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892 and had no reference to any religion, nor God. The term "under God" was added by Eisenhower in the '50s during the Communist Red Scare. I graduated in 1997 with a class of over 500+ students.
