Russia’s overnight attacks once again brought death and destruction to Ukrainian cities and villages. In Kharkiv, Russian drones killed 4 people and injured at least 13, including two children. Around 60 pigs were killed in the Kharkiv region when a farm building caught fire

Today, as Ukraine enters the fourth year of resisting Russia’s full-scale aggression, the memory of the Holodomor takes on special meaning. The crimes Russia commits against Ukrainians today continue the same imperial policy aimed at destroying our identity and right to life.

The commemorative event began with an ecumenical memorial service at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Transfiguration, where those present honored the victims of the Holodomor with a joint prayer.

On Holodomor Remembrance Day, Ambassador of Ukraine, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, together with the Ukrainian community and British partners, honored the memory of the millions of innocent Ukrainians deliberately exterminated by the Soviet totalitarian regime.
