Lambeth and Wandsworth are two neighbouring South London boroughs. Wandsworth has put in no recent LTNs. Lambeth has gone big on them. But it is Wandsworth that is performing better on just about every traffic metric.

The cycle lobby will tell you segregated cycle tracks are safe. The data shows it’s not true. 30% of serious injury in the City of London from 2017 to 2024 occurred on short sections of cycle superhighways with floating bus stops.

I wear my heart on my sleeve I always have . I’m too old to change now. The replies to my UTAG tweet have choked me right up. You deserve so much more, it’s why I will continue to fight for this trade because there’s some great people in it now I’m going to wipe away the tears.
