Today, we honor Firefighter Christian P. Engeldrum on the 21st anniversary of his passing. Christian served with pride at Ladder 61 and answered the call again as a soldier in the Army National Guard, making the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq on November 29, 2004.

Today we remember Lt. Joseph DiBernardo, who passed on November 22, 2011, from injuries sustained in the 2005 “Black Sunday” fire. That day, he and five other firefighters were forced to jump from fourth-story windows while searching for trapped civilians. Never Forget!
