We can't be losing softball players. Connecticut has a rich tradition of world class softball. Whatever has to be done to fix this has to be done. The Big East defenders cant use the "a big conf hurts our olympic sports" anymore. Baseball and now Softball punched in the gut.

Baseball has always been kind of the dividing line for me. Basketball loves the Big East. Football surviving Independence. Baseball was "ok" in the Big East. Was "ok." Past tense. This snub crosses a line.
