It's been 2 days. Bruins are 3-0-2 in past 5. Ryan Leonard wasn't particularly effective for the Capitals last season. Hagens is obviously part of the long term plans AND could help the team now but there's no real need to rush and burn ELC year if he's not going top play.
@LockedNHLBruins TBF...why shouldn't fans be worried? Sweeney has shown time & time again that he prefers vets over prospects. Why play hardball with one of the league's best prospects? Other prospects are signing immediately and jumping into their team's lineups, whereas Hagens is waiting...

Im with you. I do wish that some folks would get their stories correct though. Hagens does not have to play 10 games to burn a year off his ELC. He simply has to sign.

My take on the Hagens stuff goes only as far as checking to see if he signed, finding that he hasnt yet, and going right back to what I was doing. Itll work out and there is truly no rush.

A 4th liner whose team is done for the year. Losing him would have zero impact. If you can't make a stand on this player, that these hits have no place in the NHL, then you really don't feel that way at all. Shame on @NHLPlayerSafety
