I don't know @englishspecial but from my experience of working with Y10s this year, I would rather ZT as there are some students who are just intent from before they step through the classroom door to disrupt the teaching and learning.
👀Today’s thought provoking #sundaypoll👀👀. Are extreme zero tolerance school policies disproportionately aimed at controlling the boys who they think can't self-regulate, leading to negative impacts like increased school avoidance for girls and SEND pupils?.

@TsuiAllen @Kitronik There are some microbit robots on the market that have encoder motors (with less steps) but they are obviously more expensibe than the @Kitronik ones. I think Maqueen Plus from DFrobot is one of them.

Hey! @BogdanAlecsa Thank you for ❤️ my 54,321 count controlled loop post. Managed to build the first of I think 20 of these recently uncovered in a storage cupboard at my school.
@MRMICT @4tronix_uk In other #CASChat #Computing #EdTech #TopGear news, a small tidy up today reveal a number of these @Kitronik #MOVEmini were given to my predecessor in 2017 which still need assembling.

Saying goodnight with this. When teaching enthusiastic 8 year olds how to change simple shapes into pretty patterns using @4tronix_uk @microbit_edu give them upper limit values for the number of repeats because 54,321 runs for over three hours. #JustSayin

In other news, since May 2025 have been delving back into the cinematic archives by watching every Bond film in chronological order of release. Reached "Diamonds Are Forever" this evening. The superweapon technology was just so laughably appallingly bad.

Yep! @scriptwren How all social media platforms seem to work now. Bunches of angry click-baiters everywhere. School holidays making less busy thumbs piling on seems to have started today. I'm going off to spend more time in the real World.
I know it’s a bit grim here at times, but been over to threads and flipping heck, some of the people on there need therapy. People yelling and insulting one another for no good reason. Like 0-60 in a second. And some bloke just posted his kid’s SATS results in full.

Looking very rock star @MissEmmaTurner I on the other hand have yet to get up from the Reception classroom floor since Wednesday.
Don’t mind me just deciding whether to take in the washing (look in my shades) jet wash the paths, walk the dog or none of the above. FRIDAY!
