Just got invited for my first informal interview for a research technician position. I'm reviewing my lab skills and reading the PI's published papers, any other advice on how to prepare/questions to ask PI? #AcademicChatter #research #InterviewTips.

My second takeaway is that I am so lucky to have been surrounded by lovely, considerate people in my life because there are a lot of people who simply do not care about anyone but themselves.

I've been watching (periodically because it is a lot) the Springfield City Council meeting regarding a mandatory mask ordinance, and my biggest takeaway so far is the importance of communicating science in a way non-scientists can understand.

Recent research in cancer immunotherapy has lead to the development of an antibody that targets both cancer cell markers and T-cell markers, specifically those for stimulation and co-stimulation. This can help enhance the immune response against cancer!.

I think that Twitter could be used to learn about new directions in immunology research. This is a career I'm interested in and I'd like to hear the perspective of those actually involved in the field. #BMS525.
