Celebrate #Nationaltreeweek by planting a tree. What better way to celebrate it by planting a fruit tree.#growingfruitforpeopleandplanet.
#NationalTreeWeek marks the start of the tree planting season and is an opportunity to celebrate the many benefits trees bring to our towns and cities. Naturally, if you're going to plant a tree to mark the occasion, we'd recommend you make it a fruit tree 🍏. @TheTreeCouncil

@BonkersBusway @NTGates @UK_Orch_Network @TreesAreGoodCIC @PTES @ProjectOrchard @orchardsproject Seeing the care taken by orchardists like Leo; researching varieties, choosing rootstock, grafting, planting & most importantly caring for the saplings as they take root and establish, underlines how “mitigation planting” is just #greenwashing #SaveCotonOrchard.

@NTGates @UK_Orch_Network Allow traditional orchards to grow, with new trees coming up beside the old to take over #biodiversity. Doing exactly this is @TreesAreGoodCIC 🌳🍎🍐 Growing fruit #trees for people & planet 💚

Brilliant day @BonkersBusway Coton Orchard harvesting bramleys from the veteran trees which would be destroyed with the proposed bus way. This place is a haven for wildlife it would be tragic if the development went ahead. #savecotonorchard.#growingfruitforpeopleandplanet
