Oh yeah baby, this is my type of Surf & Turf w Poblano Braised Short Rib & Charred Octopus w Purple Potato Puree with @ChateauBrown, Pessac-LĂ©ognan, #Bordeaux reds. The lighter body-moderate instead of full, finer tannins of Pessac-LĂ©ognan went well! #wine

Really fun, well executed morning learning about winemaking in Austria with @jessebeckerms #mariecheslik and @AustrianwineUSA My takeaway, we need more Austrian blaufrankisch wines in Chicago! Its red and black raspberry, and supple tannins make it a great food pairing wine.
