Mitigating the number of trespassing injuries and fatalities is reasonably practicable. Unfenced tracks in urban areas are a hazard that should be addressed everywhere. Metrolinx has been proactive about this, which is good.

Cross-Canada services are already far too limited, we must fight any attempts at service cuts.

Lines 1, 2 and 4 are closely integrated, so for long-term maintainability it would make sense to get more made-in-Canada Toronto Rockets (version 2.0) but everyone involved must recognize that the price needs to be fair, compared to global benchmarks.

“One mile on a bike is a $.42 economic gain to society, one mile driving is a $.20 loss.”. “Which means that Copenhagen, a city of 1.2 million people, saves $357 million a year on health costs because something like 80% of its population commutes by bike.”.

Neither can SAF, which competes for feedstock with biodiesel, replace all current airline fuel consumption. fast and reliable electric trains can help.

Electrification! We can either start a rolling program soon, or rush to do it later. Biodiesel is an improvement, but over the long term it isn't realistic to replace all diesel used. There isn't enough feedstock.
