The way I see this is #Serco are being paid eg : 90 million, they outsource the work to “ call centres “ for say, 10 million . They pay us minimum wage for 12 weeks. I honestly don’t think their arsed if it works or not. It’s just a way for people to line their own pockets.

Just a quick update on our #trackandtrace efforts. Took dog for a walk, watched some Netflix, had a snooze, then a bath. No calls.

All systems are working but no calls are being made because theres@no one to call. From what I hear some teams are receiving calls but minimal, I’m talking about 2/3 a day

Day 6. Hardest decision I have to make today is Netflix or Amazon prime? Don’t think I can do this much longer. I need the money, I have bills to pay but this just doesn’t feel right. #TrackAndTrace

Day 5. #TrackAndTrace not one person out of approx 100 tracers has managed to get through to anyone. This is absolute madness

Allow me to clear this up. I’m a #TrackTrace caller. This is not set up. The people I’m involved with have made a few calls in the last two weeks. Nothing works @MattHancock

Hi Anne, hope your well. I haven’t heard anything as of such, I’m back working tomorrow. I do know some of our team made some calls of Friday, people either didn’t answer or it went to answer machine. Not a great start. The public arnt behind it.

Another day in #trackandtrace learning for me. If anyone is concerned about GDPR and how we are taught about handling your data, the training was very comprehensive. That said, I won’t hesitate to sell you off to the highest bidder. #justajoke

@TrackandTrace3 I totally agree but people will not be forced into lockdown because who will police the people? I cant say I'm surprised because this government couldn't organise anything. I hope you only have lovely interactions

Totally agree Amanda, this just seems like a long winded way to try and put people in lockdown without the government actually forcing us to do it.
@TrackandTrace3 So the service is flawed because people who use public transport or shop will be with total strangers for longer than 15mins. I feel for all the operators of this service because it will be you lot that gets the abuse instead of the PM and MPs who implemented it

For those concerned about having to give out information. Very little is asked for, and you don’t have to offer any out. Date of birth / email address, then some questions about your current health. Seems straight forward. Remember, it’s your choice.

Having read through the information, I’m concerned about advising people wrongly. Im by no means stupid but the amount of info we are asking to take and give out is un-real #trackandtrace
