Really disappointed at the price of these tickets. Info said as low as £26, but that’s for wheelchair users. Instead it’s £55 for a morning session in Band C! On the bend!! Evening sessions ridiculous. It’s CWG, not Olympics. Euros in Brum I got 4x pm sessions for £110 total

Honourable mention to: Dina: made both 100/200m finals (8th & 5th) 10th World final! Fastest 4x1 1st leg too apparently KJT: battles for🥉. Has high standards maybe wanted more, yet haven’t seen much this year so good result. Keely: Out all season but still runs 1:54.9 for🥉

One athlete who went under the radar was Nicole Yeargin. Whilst team performances were perhaps sub-par, Nicole ran awesome legs & should be proud: W4x4 = 51.11 Mixed Heat = 49.88 Mixed Final = 50.12

Odira’s progression is quite odd. She’s 26 so not some youngster storming onto scene. Nothing 2019-2024 <2025 PB of 1:58 (‘24) Results in 1025 all over the place, including 2:13 for 800? Need to know more on her story. Did she take a break then come back to sport like GHB?

🇿🇲 did impede 🇰🇪 on last change though so likely DQ anyway. 🇿🇲 in wrong position at changeover that time. Was this athletes faults or officials??

🇺🇸 very lucky to be given a re-run in 4x4 Leg 2>3 change, 🇺🇸 in wrong position. This meant 🇿🇲 had to X-over ahead of 🇺🇸 At 200, 🇿🇲 we’re 2nd so should be lane 2 at change (or 2nd inside) 🇺🇸 we’re in their spot Not to mention 🇺🇸 doing crap anyway. Were 4th coming in at 800
The meet referee has determined both USA and Kenya were affected by Zambia in the men’s 4x400 semis. There will be a runoff (time TBD) between US and Kenya for an additional spot in the World Champs final. Winner goes to final. All eight previously qualified teams still in.

Well done Max, another PB Chopping stride at 90m to go may have cost him. Wonder if could have just kept on the rail? Like Attoui did. Difficult to see on replays.

Great last 25 metres by @JohnsonThompson to salvage a bronze in the Heptathlon (to add to two golds). Back in 1976 Olympics there was also a tie in pentathlon and then it was broken by individual event wins.. now you share.
