Flowerpeckers play a key role in forests by spreading tiny fig seeds as they feed. In return, fig trees provide fruit even in lean seasons, offering steady food for many birds and animals. A perfect example of how two species support each other in the wild. #symbiosistuesday #KTR

Good news from #Kanha. Early this morning, a #tigress stepped into the open with her #cubs. A rare sight that reflects a #forest where she feels secure and undisturbed. Moments like these quietly show a healthy #habitat where life grows with confidence. #kanhatigerreserve

Male Paradise Flycatchers change their look as they grow. Young males start out brown, but as they mature, their feathers turn white and they grow long, ribbon-like tail streamers. These striking tails help them attract mates and stand out in the forest canopy. #FeatheredFriday

#Mahua is one of the forestтАЩs most generous trees. Its sweet #flowers fall to the ground and become food for #slothbears,#deer, #civets, #birds, and many #insects. For many species, Mahua flowers are an important seasonal energy boost #natureтАЩs own feast on the forest floor. #ktr

Bracket fungi grow on dead or fallen trees and quietly keep forests healthy. They break down lignin the tough material that makes wood hard. By digesting it, they help the wood decompose and return important nutrients back to the forest floor. #fungiwednesday #kanhatigerreserve

Drongo's often follow herds of #Gaur in the forest. As these massive #herbivores walk and graze, they disturb insects hidden in the grass. The moment the insects fly up, the #Drongo's swoop in to catch them. A simple but smart partnership that helps both survive in the #wild!

Sal forests act as natural climate regulators trapping moisture, lowering ground temperatures, and creating humid microhabitats that support fungi, insects, amphibians, and countless decomposers essential for nutrient cycling. #kanhatigerreserve #Conservation

A tiny but smart hunter! #ForestAntlions make small cone shaped pits in loose sand. When an ant or insect falls in, the sand keeps slipping and the insect canтАЩt climb out. The antlion hides under the sand, feels the movement, and quickly pulls the insect down to eat it. #kanha
