Be careful what you wish for, anti-woke crowd.
This is what happens when you ask for 100% absolute direct translations. You end up with confusing dialogue that doesn’t translate well to english, and english dub VAs trying desperately to make the script work with the lip flaps.
Just to show I'm not crazy, here's a few clips from the dub. If you have the Japanese version to pull up, you'll see that these are 99.9% identical. The voice actors are STRUGGLING to match those lip flaps because of how fast they have to go. I feel so bad for them.

I like how some of the marketing campaign of this movie is just poking criticisms of the state of the film industry today. Imagine if it slips into the movie itself, perhaps with the Mega Minions being invited to join a cinematic universe, only to decline the offer.
