Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Here’s a good article to read in between dinner and dessert. @PitcherList @DavidBrown_MLB
Hometown boy does good. Fresh off his impressive MLB debut, @Royals rookie Carter Jensen volunteers to help feed needy Kansas City residents in a turkey drive. @PitcherList talked to him about all of it. https://t.co/EoxZVXnHul

People complaining in the comments about the price of the chicken tender buckets at Yankee Stadium but I think those buckets are actually a relatively fair deal #hottakes #TendersNotTendies
Hal Steinbrenner said it is "not fair" to assume the Yankees make a profit. "I don't want to get into it, but that's not a fair statement or an accurate statement. Everybody wants to talk about revenues. They need to talk about our expenses, including the $100 million dollar

Very worthwhile read here from @roundrobin42. Changes the way I think about gambling addiction and addiction in general.

Totally agree with this take. Also, the only players with 67 RBI last year were Max Muncy, Agustin Ramirez, and Jackson Merrill.
Hot take: I’m a big fan of the 6 7 trend. It allows every kid to be a part of the “in group” and that’s a very rare phenomenon. I actually think it’s perfect that it has no meaning so it’s not offensive to anyone. A meaningless joke that makes kids happy. What’s wrong with that?

Interesting names here, nice work @UnchartedFields
🧵Here are a few (mostly) somewhat overlooked and "older" hitters with AAA statcast data this past season. Possibly seen as a list of quad-A types, I prefer to think of these as guys that would surprise people if they managed to get 400+ ABs in a season. Small writeups for all

🔊 New Fish Unfiltered We've got a great interview with Marlins outfielder Griffin Conine! From the perspective of a player who's been in the organization since 2020, he explains that the current infrastructure is "light-years ahead of where we were back then."

New newsletter: THE MONKS IN THE CASINO In the last few decades, the pro-social life script for many young people—date, marry, buy a house, have a kid—has become more expensive. Meanwhile, the anti-social life script—e.g., posting, porn, parlays—has become easier, cheaper,
