Today 24 yrs ago was my last day on active duty in the Corps. Retirement date April 1, 1997. Also retired after 22 yrs in the fire service. My how time Flys or am I just getting old, lol

25 years ago today, I realized that I would never wear my uniform on active duty again after 21 plus years. I miss the Corps and the Marine Brothers. Enjoying retirement but time does fly by, don't waste it. Semper Fidelis, Marines.

I was in Brentwood, TN for my 2nd USMC birthday ball of the year. Former SgtMaj of the Marine Corps, SgtMaj Overstreet was the guest speaker. It was great to catch up with the SgtMaj again. Our paths crossed alot in the Corps. Great man!!!

At the VA in Nashville. 2 hour drive for a 2 hour wait. Gotta love it. Leave early is the only way to beat the friggen traffic.
