I think some people are missing the connection between Yogacara and FF7 and some arguments are misunderstood or strawmanned. The multiverse discussion as far as I know, was never about an MCU-style collection of separate, hopping worlds. The argument has always been about
Wow! FF7 Rebirth Devs you are masters at hiding things in plain site. Slowed down the chapter 14 scenes to 50% and wow! I knew most of what was happening but all those unspoken lines by Cloud when you slow it down? Wow. Ya that alone destroys all the multi world theories. ⬇️

The fact that ppl can came up with trash like “Seph considers Tfa his biggest threat” requires the acceptance that FUTURE events like one at Mideel LS (already) exists; which Seph knows & tries to prevent from happening. But parallel worlds don’t exist & Re is just OG+ right?

Sephiroth’s greatest threat is actually Ultima Weapon because Mideel is wrecked thanks to Ultima Weapon appearing in Mideel making all kinds of tremors and if he hadn’t appeared at Mideel, Cloud wouldn’t have fallen into the LS and found out about his true self. 🫵🤨
“Tifa is Sephiroth’s biggest threat” is funny when her weak mind is what helps Sephiroth mindbreaking Cloud in the first place. He didn’t bother checking if she’s dead in Nibelheim, nor trying to kill her in the main game. The real threat to him is Aerith.

First person as Grace and third person as Leon is the perfect way to play. So glad they're giving us the option now after RE7 and 8. First person is amazing for the horror segments, but action is so much better in 3rd person.
