Very brief (less than 10 mins) and diffuse #aurora substorm at 10:25PM EDT, 7/12/25 in Goshen, MA. The moon rose about 24 mins before this but was not high enough yet to wash it out.

Beautiful #aurora pillars after the moon set. Captured at 1:25AM June 3 in Western Mass. Of the 70+ auroras I've shot here, this is the first to have blue at the top of the pillars.

Very brief appearance of the aurora at 1:07AM EDT, June 2 in Western Mass. It lasted less than five minutes but was enough of a tease to keep me searching in vain the rest of the night. #Aurora @DHTheWeatherNut

An amazing night of #aurora in Goshen, MA. First photo was just as it got dark at 7:45PM (10/10/24). Colors visible to the naked eye! My lens was not wide enough to capture it all. @DHTheWeatherNut @WMNFirstAlert @TamithaSkov
