They need to give their head a wobble, are we watching the same programme? there’s been many times, where the Doctor or other characters have been gay. Characters like Jack, kissed 9 in Bad Wolf and was/still is openly flamboyant. 2 and Jamie wouldn’t stop touching each other…

The Doctor is an alien. That can regenerate into any gender, race or species. Patrick Troughton (the Second Doctor) was originally going to play the character, as a different race and wanted the next incarnation to played by an actor of colour.

Toei literally describes Build as “heated drama between men” and many toku actors have gone on to star in BL projects. Whichever Rider series you’re a fan of, has men possibly having a thing for one another + Sentai has recently had lesbian characters. All Toku is “too gayness”.
