The 13th Doctor's journey is ending soon. But the story never ends. If you've not listened to it yet, check out my full-cast 13th Doctor audio; 'The Collateral of Ivanhoe'.
More adventures coming soon!...(hopefully)

Isaac Newton wasn't Asian, you're right.
But Charles Dickens didn't blow up ghosts.
Agatha Christie didn't fight off a Giant Wasp.
Mary Seacole didn't treat Sontarans.
Van Gogh didn't stab an invisible chicken.
It's

. Get a grip.
And they say *we're* the snowflakes...
This faux outrage is simultaneously funny but also infuriating.
Not only was this Horrible Histories song released *years ago* but more evidence is coming out all the time validating its premise.
It cannot be under-stated just how much Conservatives *loath* seeing…
BBC’s children show “Horrible Histories” has released a song called “Been Here From The Start” which is about black people always being in Britain.
BBC is rewriting history by teaching children that the original Britons were black.

Jesus Christ. Seriously, get complaining. Hell needs raising here.
Genuinely, one of the best pieces of animation of all time. I can't even imagine what it would take to just think up this set-piece, let alone animate it in stop-motion.
Todd Phillips stated “go try to be funny nowadays with this woke culture” when asked if he would develop more comedies. He adds that comedies don’t work anymore “because all the funny guys are like, ‘Fuck this shit, I don’t want to offend you.’” (Source: )
My favourite part about this Tweet is that this guy saw this shot and thought; "Wait a minute, Ruth has been working in entertainment for at least 15 years but I'VE spotted something that no one else has and I'VE rumbled her!"
Brain-rot.
People like David see themselves as the "Master/Superior Race" but will literally piss and shit themselves because non-white people are in a TV show.
They're so weak. So fragile. So perpetually offended.
...black people in media. They genuinely cannot handle it.
They don't want to see them accurately represented in history (Horrible Histories) they don't want to see artistic license (C5's Anne Boleyn). They don't want to see them in fantasy (Doctor Who) or in drama (The Pact).
The fact that Jodie Whittaker had "two hearts" when filming her last story ends up makes her more qualified than every other Doctor actor.
Hey, I don't make the rules.
Not the first person to make this connection, but it looks like the 15th Doctor and Ruby Sunday's first meeting in
#DoctorWho
is based on RTD's first meeting with his husband at a Manchester night-club in 1998.
Adorable doesn't cover it.
The Doctor literally *pulling a ship down from the sky* and piercing it with a church spire is the most metal thing this show has done for years and I adored it.
#DoctorWho
I really really really really hope that Eccleston in 'A Christmas Carol' and Tennant in 'Macbeth' are being recorded and I can watch them at some point.
The fact that Matt Smith *simultaneously* says that shows shouldn't come with warning but also says that warnings for things like Strobe Lighting makes sense kinda shows that no one has any idea what they're talking about with this issue because it's deliberately incoherent.
“I worry sometimes that we’re moving towards a sanitised version of everything”
Actor Matt Smith says theatre should “shock” people and that “one of the great things about Doctor Who was that you scared children, but in a controlled way”

Wild moment in
#DoctorWho
history; when DW won the BAFTA for Best Drama in 2006 the wrong Dalek prop trundled on stage.
The black Dalek Sec hadn't appeared in the show yet but was at the BAFTAs due to a mix-up as RTD and the other DW producers watched on in horror.
According to Rachel Talalay there are as many as 800 roundels inside the new interior set and every single one is uniquely programmable. They must have poured an absolutely insane amount of money into this set alone.
🚨 BREAKING - BBC Will Stop Using AI For
#DoctorWho
Promotion Following Complaints!
Deadline reports that the BBC has "no plans" to use AI again in promotion of Doctor Who. This follows complaints from viewers.
🔷 The tech was used in a "small trial" by the BBC.
The Toymaker should have followed the Bill puppet with a Dan puppet.
"And here is Dan, from Liverpool. He no longer has a house and the Doctor left him without a goodbye"
"But he's alive?"
"Well that's all right then!"
Yes, we can all agree that Bernard Cribbins was an incredible actor and was amazing as Wilf.
But he was also such a gifted physical comedian. This scene of Tom trying to blend in with the Robomen from 'Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150AD' has me howling every time.

Stef Coburn claims he's doing this to respect his father's legacy (he's a constant liar on X but let's play devil's advocate) but all he's doing is erasing and gate-keeping one of his father's biggest contributions to pop culture.
All because he can't stand PoC/LGBTQ+ people.
NEW: BBC confirms the first ever
#DoctorWho
story An Unearthly Child will not be included in its iPlayer expansion next month after the broadcaster was unable to obtain the rights. More details:
'Doctor Who' was the brainchild of a Canadian Immigrant, a Jewish Woman, a Gay Indian Immigrant and the first story from Anthony Coburn was a pro-socialism and pro-progressive allegory.
Doctor Who is continuing forward in the slip-stream of the diverse creatives who imagined it.
I don't think there is any context where Conservatives are happy with seeing non-white people in media unless it's in a negative one (Gangsters, victims etc).
Remember when Lawrence Fox was furious at the *historically accurate* inclusion of a single Sikh in the film '1917'?
As an event, that
#DoctorWho
episode was something special.
As a fan since 2005, this is my 5th regeneration. The 5th time of this tradition of saying goodbye to our friends as we embark on a new adventure.
But with 'The Power of the Doctor', it embraced the show's...
The unspoken truth at the heart of the reaction to Nathaniel Curtis as Isaac Newton in
#DoctorWho
is that Conservatives just don't want PoC in media under *any* circumstances.
They don't want historical accuracy, historical revisionism, PoC in dramas or PoC in fantasy/sci-fi.

"Mwahaha, I shall get my vengeance on the BBC for casting a black man in Doctor Who by not allowing them to show 'An Unearthly Child' again!".
For this discussion, my mind goes to the idea of media preservation. Yes, 'An Unearthly Child' is the first DW story and it's...
I love the (throwaway) line of the Doctor spending 3 years in orbit before thinking to turn of the H.A.D's. I bet it was 12, just learning the Guitar for 3 years getting very grumpy.
So much of the backlash I'm seeing to Yasmin Finney's casting finds much of its roots in unabashed misinformation.
"Billie Piper has been recast! She lost the role of Rose Tyler because she's white & not woke!"
Finney isn't playing Rose Tyler...she's a character *called* Rose.
Conservative MPs are presenters on GB News; a news channel which has platformed guests saying Ncuti Gatwa should be "stamped out", that children shouldn't watch Doctor Who because it's casting people of colour and a host who called his casting "peculiar" due to his skin colour.
That was...an interesting debate.
Sanctuary of Geeks talking about the UK healthcare system and what should happen to people who can't afford private care.
"So you're saying they should just die?...Is that genuinely your position?"
"Pretty much"
Yes, it is very very funny for TERFs to try and claim that Emma Watson's wealth and privilege means she can't speak about women's issues...but worship at the altar of JK Rowling who never leaves her literal *Castle* because she's too busy being always on Twitter.
Fundamentally, this is because most right-wingers don't really see non-white humans as…well, human.
They don't see them as the same species that evolved and changed over years and more like an "other" that just turned up out of nowhere a few hundred years ago.
Posting this picture of Graham Linehan calling David Tennant a paedophile for literally no reason and with no evidence before he deletes it (and is hopefully sued into oblivion for libel).
Not sure why the BBC are framing the news of Scotland's Gender Recognition act through the disapproval of Kemi Badenoch.
She's an "Equalities" Minister who is anti-abortion, anti-women's rights, anti-Semitic and anti-poor. Anything she says can be dismissed comfortably.
This was always the scene from 'The End of Time' that made me love Wilf.
I can't wait to see him back in the 60th Anniversary and it breaks my heart that Bernard Cribbins is no longer with us.
A brutally honest thread about
#DoctorWho
fandom.
Buckle up.
So, I had a bit of an epiphany yesterday when chatting with my gf who noted that even though she hardly follows 'Doctor Who' social media accounts or fans, her timeline gets flooded with wholly...

Actor Peter Capaldi tells
@AndrewMarr9
that he’s against a reboot of 'The Thick of It’ as politics is now “beyond a joke” with problems “too serious” to trivialise.
To clarify for those who haven't seen the press release or other articles;
In November 2023 we're gonna get 3 Specials featuring David Tennant. Then during the "Festive Period" (December 24th to Jan 1st) we're getting another Special which will be Ncuti Gatwa's proper debut.
Stop me if this is a controversial take, but the more I think about 'Wild Blue Yonder' the more I think that David Tennant gives one of the best Doctor-performances of the show's 60-year history.
Up there with Baker in 'Genesis', Davison in 'Caves', Capaldi in 'Heaven Sent' etc.
Happy 18th Birthday to this 'Doctor Who' 'Blue Peter' clip when Christopher Eccleston shows up in a kid's garden and vaporises his Dalek compost bin with a Blue Peter badge.
Has to be seen to be believed.
"Take that!"
Initial thoughts then I sleep (back in studio tomorrow)
- Tennant's SOOO good
- Ruth "We All Have Weapons In Our Wheelchairs" Madeley is GOAT
- Finney was great...but Rose was under-written
- TARDIS is big. I hope they do something with that size.
- The PNG in the intro looks bad
The re-framing of the Weeping Angels by Chris Chibnall and Maxine Alderton as an embodiment of encroaching fascism is such a bold and effective reinvention.
A patient form of evil and if you turn your eyes away, even for a moment, it can force you back to the past.
#DoctorWho
Reminder, in Coburn's own words, he's spiteful because he considers the casting of a black man and a drag queen in 'Doctor Who" to be "filth" and "corrupted".
Imagine having so much hate for black people and LGBTQ+ people you will try and hamper media preservation.
What was your favourite
#DoctorWho
special written by Russell T. Davies where a female space-captain sacrifices themselves to stop an evil cosmic being who can change their face and shape played by David Tennant?
Very disappointing to see names like Helen Raynor, Alexander Armstrong, Tony Robinson and Ben Miller signing the JK R*wling Solidarity petition.
It's pretty unambiguous at this point that she's the de-facto leader of a hate movement so any public support is concerning.
Uh-oh, Doccy Who TikTok found the "You're so gay" clip from 2005.
Time to pack it all in, lads. We're cancelling the show.
*Picks up a spear*
I knew this day would finally come.
If you're ever wondering whether Charlie Craggs will ever reprise her 'Doctor Who: Redacted' role on screen...
Saying the PM should kill themselves in an ITV interview might scupper that, but definitely worth respecting.
Thanks so much to 'The Power of the Doctor' director Jamie Magnus Stone for popping into the stream chat to confirm trivia!
Annetta Laufer ('Eve of the Daleks' director) shot Paul McGann's dialogue as he filmed on a different day.
And the Cyberman + Dalek glance was unscripted.
Sorry, let me get this straight.
#DoctorWho
is "dying" when it gets overnight figures of 4-5M and is the
#1
drama of every week it broadcast.
But almost every other drama for the past 2 months has been getting overnights of 2-3M, even in Holiday time-slots.
Make it make sense.
The Doctor rumbling The Master's disguise because she read that O was a Champion Sprinter *off-screen* and with zero prior set-up is one of the most "I can't believe that made it to broadcast" moments of this era of
#DoctorWho
.
I would like to remind
#DoctorWho
fans that NotMyDoctors have been "leaking" that Jodie Whittaker was about to leave the show every day since 'Twice Upon A Time' was broadcast.
1312 days ago.
It took them 1312 attempts to be right.
Don't let them control the conversation.
Going through footage while editing my review of 'The Giggle'.
Remember in 'Arachnids in the UK' where Robertson's hired-goon points at loaded gun at Yaz and her mother despite Yaz being a serving police officer and it's just...never mentioned.
When you start thinking stuff like this and have enough delusion to go on and say it in public, you genuinely need to start re-thinking your entire life and probably need professional psychiatric help.
Genuinely. No joke. This is psychotic.
On a re-watch of 'The Giggle' I can't help but be cynical about the "cancel" line from the Toymaker considering that two big actors from RTD1 (Clarke and Barrowman) have been "cancelled" for their alleged on-set behaviour on his watch and he's never publicly addressed it.
A few years ago, reactionaries were livid at Eccleston for saying that sci-fi should be fun and inventive (defending the canon change of 'The Timeless Children'). But now they're trying to co-opt the feminist, pro-racial equality, working-class actor as one of theirs?
Scumbags.
@TrilbeeReviews
@TrilbeeReviews
have you heard that conservatives are now using Christopher Eccleston’s recent clip at convention to prove their point? Also this from Bowlestrek.
Doctor actors who didn't watched the show before being cast:
William Hartnell
Peter Davison
Sylvester McCoy
Paul McGann
Christopher Eccleston
Matt Smith
Jodie Whittaker
I'm actually not sure about Troughton or Pertwee.
The ending of 'Flesh and Stone' when Amy sexually assaults the Doctor on the night before her wedding and the ending of 'The Big Bang' where Amy sexually harasses the Doctor *immediately* after getting married.
Moffat, what is your damage?
I'd love a yearly 'Doctor Who' Halloween special in the vein of 'The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror segments.
Short, disconnected, non-canonical stories where a former companion, former Doctor or brand new guest star get involved in a horror story in the Whoniverse.
What if...Neil Patrick Harris is playing the Valeyard and RTD is finally putting an end to the "somewhere between your twelfth and final incarnation" line from 'The Ultimate Foe' in 1986?
NPH is apparently playing "the greatest enemy the Doctor has ever faced".
In terms of overnight viewing figures, Doctor Who: The Church on Ruby Road is the first time in the show's history that it's been the
#1
scripted show on Xmas Day.
(Christmas Invasion + Voyage of the Damned were 2nd, Christmas Carol was joint 2nd, The End of Time: Part 1 3rd).
