Great looking new sign at the Coliseum honoring our many historic moments in Oakland!
@Athletics
The 2024 season will be a celebration of our fifty plus years in Oakland! See you at the ballpark! ⚾️⚾️⚾️

What could Las Vegas A's city connect uniforms look like when they share an outdoor stadium with a minor league team for 3 years? Used Bing Image Creator for two possibilites
BREAKING: The A's have set their sights off the Las Vegadstrip, as it is proving to be logistically too expensive. There is a leaked rendering of a proposed site next to I-95 in Henderson, 1 mile away from the Raiders training facility.
It still blows me away that a couple of A's fans invented a team out of sheer will and spite while a billionaire is bumbling a move into the 40th sized market because his affinity for grift overshadows his incompetence.
Hey
@mlb
, since John Fisher is so determined to move to Las Vegas, exactly how long is his death grip on the Coliseum going to last? This is getting petty and vindictive.
We spent months working with the Coliseum, local fans, youth leagues and more to create a packed night that would celebrate our beloved Coliseum & Oakland's baseball legacy.
We're disappointed, but we won't be stopped.

So when
@DaveKaval
said a move to Vegas would make the A's financially secure, he actually meant John Fisher.
John Fisher is not the A's.
Cut bait and run, Dave.

Assuming this is real, I'm glad a member of a 2 consecutive 100 loss team has the ignorance to talk shit about the city but not have the foresight to realize he won't on the team in 2028 anyway. It's funny AF.
Leaked text message conversation with a player for the Oakland A's. He says the whole team is happy about the move to Las Vegas.
"Oakland dirty af and we been needed a new stadium"
The
@OaklandBallers
announce that 2 relatives of the late Walter Haas Jr. have bought into the team.
The Haas family was the last A’s ownership group that treated the team like a community asset rather than a straight business and that’s how I see the Ballers. Cool connection.
A crowd of people has gathered to say goodbye to
@TropLV
at the Noon published closing but they won’t allow people inside of the building & have security guards yelling at people to corral behind barriers. Goodbye Trop. I don’t know what the hell happened, but it’s clear no one
@KTNV
"Baseball is a community oriented sport" is such a tone deaf quip for a guy that's ditching a community that created their own team from scratch to fill the void the
@Athletics
are creating.
I should've asked
@ClarkCountyNV
to buy me a car before I moved here with a sales pitch of "the economic output the city would recieve from me having my own transportation will more than offset the cost of the car".
Oh wait, that sounds fucking stupid.

@mickakers
So what you're saying is: the
@Athletics
don't want the
@OaklandBallers
to play in "their" stadium but the A's will slum around in other teams minor leagues parks for years. Lolololol
The Oakland Athletics don’t know where they’ll play after this season, but multiple players would take the Coliseum over playing big-league ball in minor-league parks in Sacramento or Salt Lake City.
Who are these A's fans that think moving to a shithole in the middle of nowhere is better than staying in one the biggest markets in the country? Vegas's ego is both confusing and tiresome.
OPINION:
"A's fans dejectedly recognized the profitability of leaving downtrodden Oakland for bright lights of Las Vegas."
Oakland A’s brand of mediocrity may not inspire new fans

The
@Athletics
and
@DaveKaval
are doing everything absolutely possible to kill baseball in Oakland , going so far as to refuse another Oakland baseball team to playing 1 game on their grounds while simultaneously scrabbling for alternate locations for the next 3 years.
Empty suits like
@MLB
owners and ignorant politicians like
@SteveYeagerNV
and
@fabiandonate
facilitated John Fisher offering Las Vegas a franchise he killed himself.
Dear
@TropLV
,
Do yourself a favor and don't wait on
@DaveKaval
to give you ballpark plans. The
@Athletics
front office is a dumpster fire led by an MLB broke trust fund baby that has never earned anything.
Sincerely, Las Vegas residents
“On this arena, I’m not asking you for any money,” Oak View Group CEO Tim Leiweke said in explaining the proposed $10 billion Las Vegas campus.
