Investigators look over the rubble of the house that exploded on Plain St. in Taunton this morning. Gas crews have been on the scene. A 25 year old woman and her 2 year old daughter who were in the home are in the hospital with severe injuries.

At the height of yesterday’s storm, our crews focused on main streets because it was essential to keep them open. The work from here is to dig out the side streets. We’ll have city crews and contractors at work around the clock, like this front end loader on Belleville Rd.
