The problem with the futures being down only 1% is I think we would be down 1% just on worries about how AI is eating everything, the puzzle that is Blue Owl and the Nvidia battles...

Does $EOSE ever NOT drop less than 3% in a day? This price action is incredible for all the wrong reasons

Also, this piece touches on a central issue I have with the current popular assumption that blue collar jobs are going to be the stable moneymaker in the future because white collar jobs are being eliminated by AI. That central issue? It tends to overlook the massive labor

I spent 100 hours over the past week researching, writing and editing the piece we just put out. It’s a scenario, not a prediction like most of our work. But it was rigorously constructed, dismissing it outright requires the kind of intellectual laziness that tends to get

I really enjoyed this piece. Thoughtful work as always @Citrini7 . Some real banger quotes from the article: "We had overestimated the value of “human relationships”. Turns out that a lot of what people called relationships was simply friction with a friendly face." "Their

As someone who actively manages a team of scientists at the bench, this is pretty spot on.

I wrote up some thoughts on the automation of lab work, in particular how it relates to how people will work in the lab. In short, it will deliver a lot of value for assays run at scale, but there is a long tail of experiments where humans are essential. https://t.co/Bkq057yMas

Not filing patents and using trade secrets will become more common. Why ? Because the second you file your patent, every LLM is going to be able to train on it. Then everyone on the planet can ask for a work around to file a competitive patent. Your IP is no longer yours

We all have our individual disagreements as a biotech investing community here on X, but man is it refreshing to see everyone set aside their usual differences and unite against $HIMS. About time. They are the worst.

My favorite version of Jensen is the “I-have-a-chip-on-my-shoulder” Jensen. This interview should calm any fears whatsoever that the AI play is still a HUGE long from here

I don’t post often and I suspect this won’t be seen by many, but I want to offer my opinion on the “AI will replace knowledge workers, therefore people should move into the trades” debate. Advanced education in rigorous, technical STEM disciplines still has tremendous value and

Genuine question, but can folks point to prominent examples of biotech acquisitions that were leaked ahead of time, went bonkers viral on X with optimistic price targets galore, and then the deal actually went through according to the consensus opinion here on X? Maybe I'm

One of my favorite aspects of options selling is playing the game of patience as theta ramps up. There are few things more satisfying. Reminiscent of the feeling of having a fish on the line. From the moment the trade is live, you -- the fisherman -- hold the advantage and the

This, 100%. I think the word "humbling", even for experienced biotech investors and those with advanced knowledge in the field, is the most apt descriptor of this sector.

When asked about biotech investing (family, friends & people I meet while traveling), my default is to tell them they're better off in a basket of index funds Riskiest sector in the market, perhaps the most lucrative in some respects but also the most humbling $XBI $IBB

Convince me why the easiest money in the market right now isn't just selling CSPs on $RVMD at $100-110 strike with 30-60dte until $MRK deal passes? Even in worst-case scenario if $MRK deal falls apart, $RVMD has an absolutely outstanding asset in daraxonrasib. Hard to imagine

Why is $RVMD currently trading at $22.5B market cap when seemingly legitimate reports/leaks suggest acquisition in the $28-32B range? Is market pricing in risk possibility of CVR as part of the deal? Or just uncertainty given that no deal is done yet?

I don’t post much here, but can we call some balls and strikes on $NTLA for a moment? 1- Nex-Z efficacy data in ATTR is outstanding. Assuming Ph3 clinical data readouts match clinical data released/published thus far, it is objectively best-in-class. 2- Nex-Z mechanism via gene

Two massive call buys on $AMGN today from same individual. First trade cost $7.7M in total premium for a 305 strike, 2194 contracts, less than 3 weeks until expiry (12/19). Second trade even bigger at $8.2M, also 305 strike, 2194 contracts, etc, but w/ Jan '26 expiry. 🤔

Earlier today, someone bought $812K worth of $RCUS OTM 30 strike calls expiring in April 2026. I haven't logged anything on this ticker anywhere close to this size. Probably nothing, right?...
