After my 3rd tango with COVID-19, I feel listless. I went out to my garden this morning, needed to after a whole day in bed Sunday. I feel better after looking at my mountains, my trees, and home. Nature heals better than anything else.

My Peacock, Mr Pops, only has half a tail in winter. He's tetchy because it's growing back, like someone suffering hay fever in spring x 100. Here he is, in better, warmer days, parading past the 3 ladies on site.

Musk Lorikeets have glossy green, aqua blue, red/orange and a touch of yellow plumage. These chatty birds continually slurp nectar from lemon gum tree blossom. #birds #WildOz #NaturePhotography #TwitterNatureCommunity #Ozbirds #nature https://t.co/5LxLeHpETa

Birdlifesaving: Glowing Green - In my neighbours tree there were Musk Lorikeets drinking and chirping. Just heading into a state-wide lockdown this afternoon, but the birds meant I didn't fret about it. #birds

Magpies come to steal my peacock's food. We don't mind, they lift their heads and warble and the sound is quite special. A family group sing at dawn outside my bedroom window. It's much sweeter than the xylophone sounds on my phone alarm to wake up to.

Rupert is stunning and so is his backstory. If there was a designer collection of moth coats, Rupert's would be at the top; he's so ritzy looking, especially with the fluffy orange highlights!

Yesterday I got pics of this lovely Eastern Yellow Robin having a bath, swim and shimmy shake on a mid-winter morning. It made my day. #birds #nature #WildOz #BirdsUp #TwitterNatureCommunity https://t.co/QVYVyZnaUX

Creeping to the bathroom I saw a little friend outside. One wet nose, deep brown eyes and eyelashes to die for, this Red-necked Wallaby was grazing beneath the clothes line where I washed my winter blankets. We had a starring competition! Life is sweet. #NaturePhotography #WildOz

Six am, three degrees, yesterday morning-mid-winter. The mountain we live on is surrounded by a valley of mist. As the sun rises higher in the east, colour comes to the farm and the clouds are drawn up vertically. My spirit soars along with it. Love to the world, and to you.

In the last day of my school holidays I came across this little gem from Paulo Coelho. Trying to be like a river, to go with the flow without rocks or rapids getting to me, seeing and appreciating the world as it drifts by beside. https://t.co/wuxhnMNIia via @paulocoelho

#frogs are going around #Twitter. Here's a #GreenTreeFrog that wants to live in my pool. Trying to get it out meant it jumped on my face. Mild #trauma afterwards, though I love its eyes. #WildOz #TwittterNatureCommunity #NaturePhotography #surprise #nature

It seems we need a little tranquility in the world right now. Here's a juvenile duck I saw Wednesday evening B4 shit hit the fan in Washington. Something sweet to reflect on. #TwitterNatureCommunity #birds #NaturePhotography #WildOz #nature #www.birdlifesaving.com

A beautifully rendered tribute to a relationship, marriage and a woman of substance. This made me cry loads, but it was worth it to read all the well chosen words. #life #loss #WritingCommunity
