Xanadu (especially OG Xanadu) created some of life's coolest memories, including being the placed where I proposed to marry Jess! I'm honored to have been a small part of something special, sad to see it go. I went to the first Xanadu (2010), see you at the last! (2024).
Hey all Xanadu Dictator aka VGBC | Aposl here. It’s with a heavy heart that I have to say Xanadu will be closing at the end of December. We initially expected much more time in the lead up to Xanadu closing but due to unforeseen circumstances Xanadu will be closing its doors.

I'm with the opponent here. I hate wearing headphones to play, I much prefer game audio from the monitor. So if you take away my audio and say I need to wear headphones, I would say you have no more privilege to do that than for me to prefer the speaker audio.
Opponent was mad because I plugged in my headphones and he didnt have game audio. I always bring a splitter, I can't focus with the ambient sound which is why I use headphones. I said if audio mattered so much he should have brought earbuds/headphones. He refused to run the set.

Favorite weapons: fists and shield.Least favorite: the bow, why is this weapon so bad compared to the others. Spear and Gun are fine, sword is fine too but it's just bad.

I'm sure I could get more consistent with victories, I did try a few more times and died on hades because of a bad boon kit but once I get more upgrades I'm sure it would come more easily, maybe by 50 or 55 I'd get the last 9. I usually hate roguelikes but this one won me over.

OK, finally cleared Hades on escape attempt 31. Thought that would be the end, only to realize I need to beat it 9 more times to get the real story end. It's a great game, but not enough for me to want to beat it 9 more times. I'm calling this one "beat" on my terms.
