If any good causes/charities etc need a Christmas tree (or three!) We won't sadly be needing ours for the next few weeks.....would rather see them go to a good home. (No decorations sorry!)

So tonight it's our LAST HURRAH before the latest shutdown. We're banged out with bookings, but we'll be moving heaven & earth to get tables & seats for everyone, inside & out (it won't be as cold as this picture, we promise). Bob over, we'll have an elbow tap & a beer! 👍😘

We try!! All we can ask is get to your local in the next 36 hours (and be kind to the staff). And then when January hits and we re-open, have the mother of all nights out ..... We'll all need it.
I'm so sorry, @TheSelkirkSW17 @goldfinchsw17 and others that are currently doing things the right way. I'm sorry you end up taking the fall for those retailers that don't.

We think it's "madness" too my friend, believe me 😂. Not quite as bad as when we got 2/5 for our hotel rooms which "are in desperate need of a revamp" (we haven't got any hotel rooms), but still.

We're happy to be a "workplace canteen" for anyone who needs us......
Right: so if Parliamentary bars are exempt from 10pm closing because they count as a "workplace canteen", then surely the same applies to any pub I choose to drink in, so long as I'm making tasting notes, interviewing people or writing a story while I'm there?

Local businesses in Tooting should definitely have had first refusal.... I know @RambleTooting would have liked a few as well up there end!
@JohnLocker_UK Additionally, removing Tooting’s planters and distributing them to other affluent parts of the borough has gone down very badly. Local businesses including @TheSelkirkSW17 expressed an interest but they’d already been lifted! Nobody asked anyone in Tooting!
