Overwhelming experience just now. Gone to Waterloo Station, got a black cab outside to the Old Vic (literally 2 mins but me Dad can't walk it). When we get there, I go to pay but the man wouldn't take any money. "We all get old someday mate, have a pint on me". What a bloke.

Yesterday we served 149 FREE Christmas dinners. A local homeless guy I know at the very end killed me. He destroyed his dinner ("best food ever"), wouldn't take a beer, then when offered a full tub of chocolates just put six in his pocket "that's enough for me Mick". Sheesh.

Matriusz facts: He DID go to Poland for Christmas. He DIDN'T tell his wide he'd lost the money "I didn't want the stress over Christmas" 😂😂and he works in the building trade. He left a hefty tip for Nobby, & like ALL Polish people, was a brilliant bloke. Filling up here.

Crazy but beautifully heart-warming day in the Alex yesterday. We fed 146 folks who would otherwise have been alone, sent a meal out & sat with a lady who is housebound, & sent out a couple of meals to two soldiers who were isolating. It was a gorgeous day, Thankyou ❤️❤️❤️❤️
