Sure it’s mocked for its battery life and the screen doesn’t hold up in 2022. Game Gear is another example of SEGA doing something first; and too soon.
It allowed gamers to take the full, uncompromised home console experience (Master System) on the go, decades before the Switch.

Sega Rally takes me 3 minutes and 18 seconds to complete; and I’ve been playing it since January 1996.

. When you consider that the game launched on PC the same month the Dreamcast launched in Japan, its an impressive feat. Shame it never seen an official release, despite all but being finished.
