Once again, why I mark UBLs. Caught an easy 10pts on the bounce (at half-size position). and This was one of them special UBLs that was a breakdown level before it was a breakout level: $ES_F $SPY $SPX

There are also 3 prominent gaps. And, since price broke the previous ATH on 6/27 it Has Not revisited that line. I'm not saying $SPY can't go higher, I'm just saying we're do a pullback eventually. and these lines are potential bounce/undercut&rally spots.

My last post had me looking at $SPY daily, and I've noted this lately but haven't posted much in the Land of Twits: $SPY gapped over the 18DMA on 4/23. Since then, it has only closed below the 18 on ONE day; It gapped over the 50MA on 5/1, and hasn't touched it since.

Part of my Fire Drill Mode ( $VIX based strategy ) is exiting it. I look for 3 straight days with VIX completely back under 18. This is Overly safe (I start looking for individual stock entries with 3 closes <19), but, since then (6/27) $SPY is up 3.7%.

That wasn't very jolting.

Possible Hiccup: 10am Consumer Confidence and JOLTs. But I'm not expecting much from today. A shit ton of key data is dropping Wed/Thurs/Fri, and that often leads to fairly boring Mon/Tues. Gonna see if I can get a scalp or two early and probably call it a day.

Yester-eve I went to my parents' house to mow their yard. At some point, next to a rock wall, I apparently pissed off a yellow-jacket nest. They came from behind and started stinging. About a dozen stings in all as I ran away stripping off my clothes. Shit's really itchy today.

I recently took a load of aluminum cans to the recycle center and got $0.60/lb. I think last time I'd taken cans, maybe 6 months ago or so, it was 0.45. I might start picking up cans off the side of the road:) #Recycle #Tariffs.

I've decided to work on a new play, I'm calling it "The Opposite Day Trade". On days when parameters don't fit my style, I don't take trades because I lose a lot more. butt. what if I did the Opposite of what I'd normally do? Might be something to this if I get the risk right.
