Last Nov in KY we saw a rejection of anger politics. It’s clear people are sick of politicians trying to tear us apart.
That’s why I started In This Together PAC to support good candidates in tough races running for the right reasons—pushing back against divisiveness & vitriol.
I want to thank all of our volunteers, staffers, and grassroots supporters that have worked so hard to get us here today.
Thank you. Almost there, Kentucky.
‘You can’t underfund and starve a system and then say it doesn’t work’ — Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) called out those who seek to defund public education in favor of private and charter schools
Your excitement, energy, and enthusiasm for our campaign has kept me going for the past year and a half. Now, it all comes down to your vote today. Show up to your polling place by 6 pm and help Kentucky win a brighter future.
I’m honored to be your Democratic nominee for governor, Kentucky.
Together, we’re going to continue to build on the progress of the past 3 years—moving our commonwealth not left or right, but forward.
Let’s do this.
.
@GovAndyBeshear
will be back on the ballot in November, as Decision Desk HQ, an election results reporting platform partnering with The Courier Journal, has reported he's won the Democratic gubernatorial primary.
For the results:
Hadley’s story is important.
Under Kentucky’s current law—which Daniel Cameron supports and defended to the Supreme Court—women and girls like her would have no options.
We lost four children of God today, one of whom was one of my closest friends. Tommy Elliott helped me build my career and become Governor; he offered me advice as a dad. 1/3
This is it, folks. After a year and a half of traveling this state, meeting thousands of you, listening to your stories, and sharing our ideas, it all comes down to tomorrow. Make a plan to vote and help us show that Kentucky's brightest days are ahead of us.
Here’s what I know to be true: Every person is a child of God and deserves to feel seen and loved for who they are.
To build a better Kentucky, we must fight for equality, fairness, and a more inclusive Commonwealth where all our people can thrive.
Happy Pride Month, folks. 🏳️🌈
I promised the people of Kentucky that I would always do what I think is right. So when the General Assembly passes mean and hurtful bills, I veto them. I know the vetos will likely be overridden, but my job is to stand up for our Kentucky values. To love my neighbor.
Earlier this week, Matt Bevin got caught taking a taxpayer-funded state plane all over the country. Now, he's telling Kentuckians it's "none of their business" what he was doing on these personal trips. Folks, this is YOUR plane, it IS your business. He needs to come clean.
Kentucky's motto is "united we stand, divided we fall."
I’ve always worked to be a governor for all people—no matter their party or background. Everyone deserves to live happy and healthy here in the Commonwealth.
That's worth fighting for.
After a week in office these promises have been kept:
☑ Reset Kentucky Board of Education appointing members who value public education📚
☑ Restored
#votingrights
to 140,000 Kentuckians 🗳
☑ Ended Medicaid waiver, allowing thousands of families to keep health care coverage 👨👩👧👦
In last night's debate, Matt Bevin tried to say with absolute certainty that he never made his false and erratic claim that someone commits suicide in a casino every night.
@MattBevin
, you asked for the tape, so we found it for you.
Check out our closing ad. As Kentuckians, we were raised to treat folks with respect & look out for one another. Matt Bevin doesn't share our values. He bullies our neighbors and attacks health care & public schools. I'm ready to do right by all of our families as your governor.
We are supporting a local business tonight by ordering delivery. Thankful to be enjoying Saturday night pizza with my family. During these times we can still find ways to support our local businesses and restaurants. ^AB

So proud of my son Will. He was going to be baptized before a packed congregation on Easter, but was so understanding that it wasn’t safe during COVID. Today, on Christmas Eve, he had a private baptism with just his ministers and the four of us. What a special kiddo!
Started my day in Paducah by knocking on our 1,000,000th door! To all of our incredible volunteers who got us here, thank you. And thank you to Toni for opening up her door to talk about what’s at stake in this election!

I’m Andy.
I’m a dad, a husband, and the governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Over the past 4 years, we’ve protected teachers’ pensions, expanded healthcare, legalized medical marijuana and sports betting—and so much more.
This November 7th, I’m asking for your vote.
Folks, when you’re on a winning team, you don’t fire the coach—you keep that team on the field and rack up the wins and bring home championships.
Let’s make sure we keep winning. Go vote.
Folks, diversity is an asset, not a liability. We are stronger when all of our people have the support they need to be themselves and share their talent with the world.
Owensboro—I’m blown away by your energy and enthusiasm.
It’s going to take every single one of us to turn folks out this November and continue Kentucky’s progress.
My opponent is trying to pit us against each other. Calling anyone who disagrees with them names. Telling you it’s okay to yell at, even hate, your fellow Kentuckians.
I’m ready to prove that’s a losing strategy in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Wow.
Bowling Green, you showed up tonight in full force. This is what our campaign is made of—folks from every background ready to keep doing the right thing for all Kentuckians. Let’s keep it going! Together.
At the end of the day, it’s my faith and my family that guide me.
That’s why we’re going to keep doing the right thing for every family here in Kentucky.
Yesterday, KYians made their voices heard, and
@JColemanKY
and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support. We took some time this morning to talk through our plan for the transition and can’t wait to get started building a government that works for everyone.
Jefferson County voters coming into the Expo Center today can expect to hear the occasional burst of shouting and cheering. That’s because election officers are highlighting first-time voters as they check in. To them, it’s about celebrating civic engagement.
I’m proud to be closing this race with an ad about family and a bright future.
The contrast to my opponent’s nasty and violent final ad makes clear what this race is all about: vision vs division.
What better way to celebrate my 43rd birthday than decorating our Christmas tree! On this day, my wish is for everyone to find what provides them strength and happiness to help in the weeks to come. ^AB
From my family to yours, Merry Christmas. No matter how you celebrate, I hope you get a chance to spend time with loved ones and to count your blessings.
Kentucky, we’ve been through a lot together.
But when Kentuckians get knocked down, we rebuild—stronger and better than we were before. That’s what I’ve worked to do over the past 4 years and that’s what I will continue to do as your governor.

Today with
@BritainyBeshear
, Will, Lila and my parents by my side, I filed to run for re-election for Governor of our great commonwealth.
@JColemanKY
and I remain committed to building a better Kentucky for all our families.
This Christmas, we are holding everyone close in our thoughts and prayers. From our family to yours, Merry Christmas Kentucky. We are thankful for you.
Can't believe it's been one week since Election Day! Check out some of the fun we had backstage. As exciting as that night was, I'm even more excited about what we'll do together over the next four years.
My opponent’s first major campaign decision is to pick a lieutenant governor candidate who helped lead the charge to enact Matt Bevin’s plan to slash pensions for our teachers, police, and firefighters.
That couldn’t be further from my values—and the values of Kentuckians.
Congratulations to President-elect
@JoeBiden
and Vice President-elect
@KamalaHarris
, the first woman, Black person and Asian American elected to this position. Today the people of the United States were heard, and history was made.
With just hours until polls open, I want to say thank you to every person who has pitched in whatever you could, knocked on doors, made calls, and talked to your friends and neighbors about what’s at stake. You’ve made this possible. And you’re the reason why we’ll win.
Worshiping this morning through our virtual service. Thank you to all of our houses of worship that are providing a safe and meaningful experience to so many. ^AB

This weekend, I’m kicking off the general election by hitting the road for a statewide bus tour to talk about our plans to keep doing the right thing for all Kentuckians—I hope to see you there.
No Kentucky teacher should have to take a second job just to make ends meet.
My Education First Plan gives every public school employee in Kentucky an 11% raise—including custodians, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, and all school staff. It's the right thing to do.
Will Beshear came into our lives 11 years ago today and changed everything. Thank you Will and (later) Lila for bringing renewed purpose to my life. I love you. Happy Birthday Will!
Today I really miss my friend. Trauma is hard and I know so many Kentuckians are processing. Please take care of you. You are loved and we care about you.
Good morning, Kentucky! Today is the day—polls are open 6 am local time until 6 pm local time.

I know we'll get through this because love always wins over hate and our people are full of love. Thank you Xavier for your kindness and compassion. You are making a difference.
A beautiful, snow-filled morning in the commonwealth. Enjoy your weekend, Kentucky. Let’s lead with kindness.
