Our grantee Louisville Center for Investigative Reporting has been keeping the public informed on the effects of the Safer Kentucky Act. Hundreds of Kentuckians have already been cited since the law took effect, making it a crime to sleep outside:

Our grantee partner @thedreamcorps worked with advocates and community groups across Wisconsin to veto AB 85. AB 85 recommended that anyone who violated probation would have to serve the rest of their sentence (even for minor violations like a speeding ticket).

This month, we gathered policy leaders across the aisle to discuss safe pathways home from prison. One thing was clear: justice must be rooted in safety, accountability, and redemption. 🤝 Thank you @cpac for hosting + @thejusttrust for sponsoring this important conversation.
