The #Giants really can’t afford Andrew Thomas to not be in the lineup nor can Andrew Thomas at this point. While I think he’ll play week 1, if Thomas isn’t healthy enough, the Giants have to plan accordingly. I’m comfortable putting Mbow or Eluemunor at LT but even still.

Surprised to see Malik didn’t get voted to be a captain but you could argue that given what Slayton has been through, he’s earned it. He worked for it, that much is certain. I’m good with 5 captains personally. Also that captains patch on Brian Burns is going to look 🔥.

Big fan of this move. I was hoping Trace Ford would make the 53 after seeing him during the preseason. Could be another Timon Fox situation in my opinion.

This is big for the #Giants especially when they may be facing a #DallasCowboys team without Micah Parsons in Week 2 and now the #Chiefs without Rashee Rice in Week 3. They have a shot and a good one at that.
NFL is aiming for at least a potential six-game suspension for Chiefs WR Rashee Rice for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, sources tell ESPN. The suspension would kick in at the start of this season.

Happy to see Beaux Collins get his shot. He’s looked solid all summer. I’m excited for him 👏🏾.
WR Beaux Collins another player who made the Giants original 53-man roster. Undrafted rookie impressed throughout the summer, especially as a blocker. Enough that he received a good chunk of first-team reps past few weeks when Malik Nabers was sidelined.

I didn’t see this one coming! Chatman at Full Back was something I was pretty excited to see during the regular season but wasn’t sure how he’d pan out defensively with the additions they made at DT. I wonder if he’s someone they’ll target to bring back to the PS.
First real surprise of the day: The Giants are cutting DL Elijah Chatman, per source. He worked extensively with the first-team throughout camp and moonlighted fullback.

Looking back at this, seeing there’s 2 legacy uniform games both coincidentally at home, could the #Giants be looking to make them their home uniforms? Or better yet, is there a New Jersey unveil coming soon?.

While I’m excited to see the #Giants bring back their color rush jerseys, being that we’ll only see them 2x this season is a bummer. Such a dope design for a jersey, one of the cleanest designs and one so many fans wish they’d change to their permanent away jerseys. One day 🙏🏾

At this point I’ve warmed up to the idea of the #Giants signing Gabe Davis, hell I even warmed up to possibly bringing OBJ back when you look at this WR room besides Nabers and Slayton. I think it’s likely that either New York or Buffalo bring Gabe Davis in before Week 1.
I will be surprised if Giants do not re-engage with Gabe Davis. A lot of projection in the WR group without much production at this level.
