I want to get into Spark The Electric Jester so bad but I have never seen a single person review/critique the games as their own standalone games and without directly comparing it to to Sonic or using it as a weapon to shit on Sonic Team.
The blame is almost entirely on Sonic Team's incompetence of basically doing the most basic things like making the gameplay fun, and focusing on grandiose ambitions to reinvent Sonic instead.
It's really embarrassing considering one guy literally just made what's basically SA3
