It's still not clear what the ban on Palestine Action means. Novara media asked the Attorney General - his office responded saying he should be addressed as a lord, and ignored the questions. The uncertainty is impeding journalism.

Novara Media told a high court judge how the proscription of Palestine Action has inhibited our journalism. He must allow a judicial review, writes Charlotte England.

This is an extraordinary report by @AlexCrawfordSky, as horrific sectarian violence leads to innocent people being killed in southern Syria. It is extremely distressing, but very important.

Watched @jeremycorbyn, @ProfPRogers and @Jinsella_ discuss the importance of peace, something the world is increasingly forgetting. One of a number of exceptional @BradfordLitFest events. The book signing was cancelled, as it briefly mentions Palestine Action.

Interesting from Robert Peston. “[No10] steamrollering has brought a government with an enormous working majority to the brink of losing legislation central to its ambitions”.
Labour’s whips are in despair. So said a number of senior Labour MP. And they are not professional troublemakers. They are loyal - largely - to the PM. This captures the failure in the party machine exposed by the massive rebellion of Labour MPs against the prime minister’s.

“There is no military solution. The only path forward is diplomacy. The only hope is peace.”.
I am gravely alarmed by the use of force by the United States against Iran today. This is a dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge – and a direct threat to international peace and security. There is a growing risk that this conflict could rapidly get out of.

In 2010, both the Conservatives and Labour pledged to abolish child poverty by 2020. 15 years later, 700,000 more children are in poverty, and neither party has specific targets*.
In today’s @FinancialTimes an interesting use of our MRP to show Reform gains in areas with high child poverty. Explains Reform’s pivot on the two child cap & why there’s an electoral imperative for Labour to show progress on tackling child poverty
